South Island Rowing Inc. 47th Annual General Meeting
Associations have been advised that regrettably the Auditors are still not in a position to provide South Island Rowing with a set of Audited Accounts covering the 18 months from 1st January 2021 to 30th June 2022. The Treasurer presented the accounts in a timely manner, and we were first advised that the Audit would be completed in time for an AGM to be held at the end of October. Unfortunately, despite the best efforts of the Treasurer to work with the Auditors the timeline has continued to slip.
At the request of the Board of SIR all four Association President/Chair have agreed that it would be in everybody’s best interest to hold an AGM with Audited Accounts even though this will be outside of the Constitution.
The SIR AGM will therefore be held in the MacRae Lounge at the Meridian Rowing Centre on Friday 9th December at 5pm before the Meridian Otago Championships; a discussion forum will take place at 4pm prior to the AGM.
Tea, coffee and light refreshments will be available from 3.30pm.
